Namak Paras
Ingredients
- 225ml Plain Flour
- 225ml Ghee or Fat
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 100ml Water
- Salt to taste
Method
- Mix flour, salt, crushed black pepper and 2 tablespoons ghee or fat until it becomes flaky.
- Make this mixture into a stiff dough with the water.
- Roll the dough flat until 6mm thick.
- Cut this dough into oblong pieces and fry in deep fat on a low heat until golden brown.
- Serve hot or cold as a snack.
